The UAE government has introduced major visa changes to benefit visitors and expats alike. The amendments in visa policies aim to provide positive impact on the visa procedures for visitors, residents, families, workers and overstaying tourists or expats.

Here are some of the significant changes in the UAE visa policies:

  • Job seeker’s Visa – This is a six-month visa granted to expats who are seeking employment in the UAE.

 

  • Parents who are sponsoring the visas of their children enrolled in the universities in the UAE can extend their children’s residency for two years after finishing their studies.

 

  • “NO EXIT” (Applicable to both employment visa or visit /tourist visa) for visa renewals – For a certain fee, visa renewal can now be done inside the country without the need for the applicant to leave and re-enter the UAE.
